Krispy Kreme was actually created in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Vernon Rudolph bought a secret yeast raised doughnut recipe from a French chef in New Orleans. He rented a building and started selling doughnuts to local grocery stores. The rest is history. See art print sizes below.
